Marcia and Alan's Wedding Day

Marcia and Alan were married yesterday at the newly renovated Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. We started the day at The Grand Sheraton where both the girls and the guys were getting ready. Marcia chose a beautiful dress by Monique Lhuillier. Marcia looked absolutely stunning.Alan, and his guys, weren't bad looking either! Alan purchased traditional barongs for all the men to wear when he was recently in the Philippines. As we were waiting for the ceremony to begin, the guys noticed Cory way up high in the balcony. And moments before Marcia walked down the aisle, the guys bowed their heads together for a group football style huddle and "break".The Cathedral is simply breath-taking. We came prepared with three shooters so that we could capture every angle possible. At one point Marcia and Alan looked up at me as I snapped the shutter. Vows and rings were exchanged. The ceremony contained many traditional elements: the passing of coins, the draping of the veil and cord, and lighting of the unity candle. After the service, everyone quickly jumped into waiting limos to head over to the Capitol Park where we caught these few images of Marcia and Alan. With the reception in full swing, there were many surprise performaces. Marcia's sister Jan, led a group of 6 girls in a Hawaiian dance (as a pre-honeymoon treat since the newlyweds are going to Hawaii). Marivic wrote and read a special wedding day prose. Sheilla sang to the couple to start off the money dance. Alan's DJ crew, 3 Style Attractions, put together a slideshow - which I have to say was hilarious! Pictures of "Rico...Sauve" had everyone in laughter. And last but not least, Alan wrote and sang to his new bride. He broke down a time or two, but as they both shed a few tears, he made it through and it was beautiful! I almost deleted this image, but thought it was kind of cool with all the video lights and flashes going off.I'll leave you with this last image of our bride and groom. Congratulations Marcia and Alan! Have fun in Hawaii. You can see more of their wedding day by viewing their Sneak Peak. And lastly, Jeff and Sylvia were the MC's and did a fantastic job of keeping things on time.
