We had such a fun time yesterday! Marti and Brad exchanged vows in
Old Sacramento on board the
Delta King. I hope this doesn't come out wrong, but since Marti and Brad aren't 19 years old, their wedding was more about who they are individually. What was important to them was making their wedding about family and friends.

Brad graduated from
USC and as a tradition among college friends, they make a custom football helmet in true tradition colors.
Go Trojans! The guys gave their football blessing and stood prominently for their pose.

The girls had their own huddle of sorts and in turn, struck their own pose. Ooh Baby!

The celebration began upon the words "Mr. and Mrs. Brad Hills!"

This is Marti's dad. He is super funny. He asked me if I knew what Marti did for a living. Of course, I answered that Marti is a pharmacist. He laughingly said, "I raised my daughter well, and what happens? - she ends up in drugs!" I laughed out loud.

We headed into Old Sac just as the sun was setting as snapped this shot at the old train depot.

Marti and Brad flew in a traditional Norwegian cake from Minnesota. It's called a
Kransekake cake. The baker was Swedish but Marti said she forgave him. :-)

Our Master of Ceremony and DJ was Sonny from
Exquisite Entertainment who introduced Reed. Reed started off the toasts by telling us of the story how Marti and Brad met. Salutes were in order for their friend Dayna who hooked them up! Marti's sister Janet was next - while she admitted to me she was nervous - she had us rolling in our seats. She laughingly told us how she and her sister Karen were rather fond of Marti so Brad better be good to her.

At the end of the night we snuck (is that a word?) out for a shot by the paddle wheel. And of course couldn't resist the night sky against the
Tower Bridge with it's reflection in the water. Congratulations Marti and Brad!
