Ann-Marie and Mark's Wedding Day

Ann-Marie and Mark were married just two weeks ago. When Ann-Marie first told me how Mark proposed I just knew this was a special couple. It was on Christmas day in 2007. Mark waited until night-time to propose. He asked Ann-Marie if she was thirsty, to which she replied, "No." He came back a few minutes later with a Jones Soda for himself. She asked him where he got it and he handed it to her with his picture on the front of the bottle kneeling holding a ring. After her initial shock, Mark got down on one knee and proposed!

We're excited to have been able to spend their wedding day with them. It was so unique and fit their personalities so well. The wedding was done up in black and white. Since the wedding was set for mid-day, they had a fun wedding after party planned and their invites matched the tattoo that Ann-Maire has on her shoulder. Teresa and I met up with Ann-Marie at her parents house. I'm really starting to love doing pet photos! and it was great to see Kirsten again (remember we shot Kirsten and Keith's wedding back in 2006!) Kirsten was the officiant for the wedding.Ann-Marie's sock even matched her wedding themed colors! and her and Mark both had their matching shoes to wear!Cory met up with us to shoot the ceremony, which was held at Whitney Oaks Golf Club. Ann-Marie had asked me if I thought they should wear their sunglasses - and I told her "It's your wedding - you should do whatever you want and feel like doing!" The sunglasses were perfect!Ann-Marie and Mark opted to see each other before the ceremony, which I love! It allows for such a relaxing day.Click the below image to begin the slideshow. Enjoy!
