Jolene and Dave's Wedding Day

Oh my gosh - it's a winter wonderland here in Tahoe this weekend. Just what Jolene ordered for her and Dave's wedding day at The Ridge Tahoe! Kelly and I came up last night to make sure we made it here with no hitches, and Nicole joined us today. As the girls were getting their hair done, we started with a few inanimate images. The flowers from Thrans Flowers were so perfect and fit right into the winter theme. La Philosophia created wonderful invitations.
I loved their rings! Both Jolene and Dave looked stunning. Jolene wore a Pronovias design from Bella Donna Bridal with glass-like Stuart Weitzman shoes. And Dave was handsome in Armani.Jolene had her heart set on doing pictures outdoors. We moved the schedule around and bumped up the first sighting earlier in the day so that we could be more flexible with the weather. Just as we thought it was going to turn into a blizzard, it let up for a few minutes. We sent Dave out ahead, and Jolene followed behind. She was a real trooper. Because after the first sighting, which was totally worth my fingers having no feeling left when we were done, Jolene decided that all her bridesmaids wouldn't like her very much if she made them go outside. The cool thing...they would have done it for her! We'll keep those images a surprise for their extended sneak peak slideshow to come in a few weeks. But for now this is Jolene as she approached Dave and together as they walked together. After taking Jolene and Dave back inside the Club House at the Ridge Tahoe, we spent some time with the wedding party and family, and then spent some more time with just Jolene and Dave. I love the various places we were able to get some beautiful images. The ceremony was short and sweet and ended in the biggest kiss! They both just radiated happiness all day. Jolene had worried about many of the details of the wedding leading up to today - but today was a different story - she just let the day unfold. As it should be.Their first dance was amazing! A waltz!!! Ending in the perfectly timed dip.I'll leave you with this image of Jolene with her dad. It was a surprise song that he picked just for his daughter...and it made us all cry! We seriously all lost it. Thanks Tom! :-)I want to say a quick thank you to Rhonda of The Ridge. Your help coordinating today was stupendous. And to Derek of Lake DJ who we seriously loved.

Congratulations Jolene and Dave! I'm glad you got your wish - and it snowed the night before your wedding! Enjoy the slopes!

The photos look absolutely beautiful. We cannot wait to see the rest. Our guests and family all loved you and your ability to make group photos in the snow painless and fun. Thank you so much for braving the elements, frozen fingers, cameras and all. Your organization and energy was amazing and made the day flow perfectly. We could not have asked for more :)

Thanks again,

David and Jolene

Hi Andrea, I don't get annoyed with stalkers. :-) I just wish they'd speak up more often and leave comments! Thanks for no longer being a stalker. We'd love to hear from you more often.
