2nd Saturday and Visual Impact

Oh my gosh, can I just say that Cathy's new store is amazing! She called up and asked if The Memory Journalists could shoot at this month's 2nd Saturday at her new midtown location of Visual Impact Design. For those that don't know - on the second Saturday of each month, many local Sacramento galleries feature new shows of individual and collective artists. Many galleries play host to the artists so it's a wonderful way to meet them in person. Some galleries provide beverages, hors d oeuvres, live music and even dinner with the artist.

I wasn't able to make it myself, but Tina was able to shoot many wonderful images. There were live models, gowns provided by Miosa Bridal Couture, that adorned the window fronts and the outside sidewalk. The models make-up was stunning and flowers enhanced their looks. Erin Rochelle was the featured artist with many amazing pieces that lines the shelves. And desserts were being sampled outside - lemon marsh mellows were a huge hit.And the coolest thing - it was Cathy's husband's birthday! Happy belated Birthday William!
