As it turned out, she was lucky to have her oral surgeon perform an MRI on her jaw for TMJ, which began the discovery of many abnormalities on her brain. After further tests, Stephani was told she had an aneurysm on the left hand side - which turned out to be much larger than the doctors first expected and in fact there were several others. After a lot of second opinions and tests it was decided that the best approach would be to have a full crainiotomy. Stephani ended her story by telling me that she was proud to say "so far so good" as her last CT scan showed no change. She has to be monitored for the rest of her life.
During this ordeal, Troy stood by her. We all laughed during the toasts about how he even stuck through the "cranky moods" as she healed. Last Saturday marked a very important day in the lives of Stephani and Troy, and the joining of their family and friends.
We started the day with Stephani getting ready. Stephani has dreamnt of this day for so long and she planned every last detail down to the wax seals on the invitations.

Here mom shed tears as we had her entire team of bridesmaids (all 7) help Steph get dressed. Steph couldn't look at her or she would have lost it herself.
We headed from Granite Bay back to Folsom where Stephani and Troy were married at St. John's in Folsom. Troy looked nervous as first, but then he smiled so big when he saw Stephani coming down the aisle.
I just love how Steph looks up at Troy so adoringly!
This might just be one of my all time favorite ceremony images.
The reception followed at Granite Bay Golf Club. The decor by Ambiance floral design was amazing! And Anthony of A&A Music Events had everyone on the dance floor!
Heidi, of Granite Bay Golf club, took us out at sunset to get some glorious bride and groom shots.
I had sat down to show Troy where to sit and Kelly snapped this image of Steph and I - I just love it!
I'll leave you with this final image. Troy had the fabulous idea of using the sand trap and Steph was game! Click this below image to begin the slideshow. Enjoy!
We had such a blast - Kelly, Anne and I couldn't resist doing our self portrait!
