Bree and Bill's Wedding Day

Yesterday was so beautiful! The weather cooperated and it even seemed hot. It was perfect for a fall wedding. Leaves were the theme for Bree and Bill's decorations and color scheme. Teresa, Kelly, and I met up with Bree, the girls, and her family at her mom and dad's home in El Dorado Hills. It was fun to see Bree and her mom, Debbie, both getting their make-up done. Bree was in the cutest VS pajamas. As soon as the pictures started, reality set in that her little girl was getting married, and Debbie shed a few tears. With the girls finishing up with make-up, we were off to photograph a few details. I just loved this HUGE platter of brightly colored oranges on the kitchen table. The little handmade lunch boxes were adorable - that's me - always thinking of food! The details on Bree's dress were amazing. Their ring box was round, with a huge pink ribbon. The words "Modern Love" were written on the inside of the lid. Bree had arranged to have antique umbrellas for the girls for our photographs. (Check out the homepage slideshow.)We planned two first sightings of the day. Bree and her dad, and later Bree with Bill. These images were captured just as her dad turned around and saw Bree for the first time.I just love Bree's eyes - you all know I have a thing for people's eyes! After a few moments of alone time, we spent a bit of time together with Bree and Bill before the ceremony. The reception was held at the Sequoia House, within walking distance of the church. And we had just enough light to make the walk. The night was a blast! Toasts, laughter, great food, and tons of dancing. Bree and Bill had these unique toasting glasses. At the end of the night we stepped outside for a nighttime shot of the newlyweds. Congratulations Bree and Bill! Thanks for letting us be a part of your beautiful wedding day. You can see more of their Sneak Peak on our "Clients" page using the password of "Bree_bill".Thanks to Teresa for being primary at this wedding. It was a nice break for me to shoot as a second, allowing me to shoot more creative shots, as well as giving me some much needed recovery time - although I had a tough time not stepping in to take over. You will all see Teresa shooting as primary more often with me lurking in the shadows!
