Even though the day's temperature cracked 100 degrees...it didn't put a damper on Melissa and Brian's wedding. This is the second wedding in a row where the bride was a classic beauty. Melissa's mom made Melissa's dress which was right up the alley of a silk Monique Lhuillier gown with a lace overdress which was pure Jenny Lee or Priscilla of Boston. Melissa's sister told me that when she got married her mom made her dress a 'la Vera Wang. I loved that Melissa gave all her sisters a locket necklace to wear; each one held multiple photos - enough for a picture of each sister.
The ceremony was held in an old catholic church in the heart of Old Folsom and is used only by request. The two ring bearers were elated to ring the church bells, signaling that a new marriage had just taken place.
In equal share to the elegance of the ceremony, the reception was a displ
y of how much fun Melissa and Brian have with their friends and
family. It was dance off time at the wedding reception. It was one of the best receptions I'd been to in quite some time. Mike Anderson of Creative Memories Entertainment provided entertainment and DJ services and kept people on their feet dancing from the moment the first song played.
